@jjkcolorado@scarlettVE_@jellicle_jay the difference is one inherently involves a party that is incapable of consent and the other doesnt. if someone mentally unwell watches something to recreate it, its because they r mentally unwell, not because the material exists in the first place.
@jjkcolorado@scarlettVE_@jellicle_jay the Ai is trained to create and cant create itself and hence being trained off of real photos/footage makes it illegal. it is just literally made to simulate real crime, so again, completely different.
The porn industry, like all industries, should have regulations in place that emphasize the safety of those working in that industry. There should be an OSHA for adult content
Those regulations should not be about what consenting adults can and cannot do on camera.
So in the UK you can now be sent to prison for three years for watching FAKE "incest" porn; meanwhile, the ACTUAL INCEST of first-cousin marriages (many of which are extremely coercive, especially against the young brides) is 100% legal.
What are you doing, step-government?
@0227_lost genuine question r u 15? the government doesnt mandate everything because people dont live day-to-day lives in accordance of the law. the government will go as far as to create laws to threaten ppls rights, is that not an issue? (abortion ban, for example)
@xoiified@scarlettVE_@jellicle_jay censorship is a bad thing by itself so no. the industry is inherently bad but i dont think that extends to all porn in the end really im not strictly anti porn at all. i am very anti censorship however so i feel strongly against that.
@xoiified@scarlettVE_@jellicle_jay it doesnt normalise abuse to anyone with the right mental capacity to consent to the act lets not act dense now. porn itself should be part of that conversation, not the weird kinks sometimes involved.
