When we started @Synetecs, our focus was primarily sovereign and enterprise AI.

We always wanted @Thaana_ai to be accessible to individuals too, but capable AI was simply too expensive to deliver locally at a price everyone could afford.

After two years of engineering, optimization and lessons from our enterprise deployments, we’ve changed that.

Today we’re launching our biggest @Thaana_ai upgrade yet: full Dhivehi + English support, smarter models, tool calling and a completely revamped experience.

More importantly, we’ve reduced the cost of different features by 35–100× compared to before.

What gave you 100 credits before can now give you around 3,500 credits for core AI usage.

Plans now start at just MVR 100/month, with much higher fair-use limits and BML tokenized payments.

Our goal with individual users isn’t high margins. It’s accessibility and adoption.

We believe AI is becoming a utility, and Maldivians should have an affordable local platform for both Dhivehi and English instead of depending entirely on international platforms.

Our sovereign AI work continues too. We’ve deployed solutions across sensitive environments including the President’s Office, Elections Commission, Anti-Corruption Commission, etc. — and much of what we learned there helped make these efficiencies possible.

This year, we’re also expanding our sovereign AI deployment capabilities beyond the Maldives, taking what we’ve built and learned locally into other countries.
