Last month’s #FirstThursdayNightWalk “3rd Birthday Meando” was special! It marked 3 years of demonstrating how developing South African townships to safe communities contributes to boosting the township economy. It also marked 2 years of partnership with @funk_im and @june16YDF🙌🏿
We celebrated the life of Lebo, founder of @SowetoByBike
The first backpacker in the township and made Soweto big through the tourist program.
Rest in Peace Lebo.
Thank you. 🙏🏿 It is a great privilege and an honor to lead this exceptional club. Here’s to an incredible Rotary year ahead, filled with purpose, impact, and fellowship! 🥂
Everyday is an opportunity to make a difference! This #Mandeladay we look back at our experience earlier this year when we teamed up with @funk_im & @june16YDF to clean up schools in Soweto. Today, we share this video as a reminder that positive change doesn’t stop on Mandela Day
