@KCiallo10032@qravenliqu@Lakenzyx@gigapooncel so being raised female means that when you are being raised people refer to you as a girl and use she/her pronouns on you hope this helps
@aspiring6969@TheVikingDane@bettytasticss circumcision is perfectly fine when it's a procedure a person can consent/assent to, even if it was cosmetic in purpose. the issue is mostly that babies cannot do that
@qravenliqu@KCiallo10032@Lakenzyx@gigapooncel there are women who's bodies were "supposed" to develop male but a DSD made them develop female instead, due to complete androgen insensitivity syndrome. these people have XY chromosomes and are born with testes. their body has never had a capacity for egg production
@grace_hawthorn@bluzoan gender identity is the brain's self identification based upon the socially constructed characteristics of men/women/boys/girls, which due to gender's very common congruence with sex these social categories tend to be externally assigned based on sex, which isn't always correct
@PixxieRei@angelc0ded it works really well it's worth tolerating the pain, it hurts less when you do it afterwards since the hair comes in at different times so you have to epilate way less afterwards
@KCiallo10032@Lakenzyx@gigapooncel secondary sex characteristics are caused by puberty yea lol. it is a male hormone because typical development would have XY chromosomes develop gonads that will produce testosterone
@KCiallo10032@Lakenzyx@dev0tionals@gigapooncel well in this case I'm guessing the hairline thing is because of DHT causing hair loss, which would make it a secondary sex characteristic because it's caused by a hormone that is only meant to be in high quantity in men. a lot of women have stuff like pcos though
@neco_arctic@BrookeHodgman I mean if by reproductive sex you mean actual gonads then (for now) yea, but it's honestly inconsequential for being sexed as "female" because a woman with a hysterectomy isn't somehow not female anymore lol
@krang0r@RedScare19_ oh yeah, I just didn't read sorry, if she's binary transgender she probably won't want to go through a male puberty, I know most trans women hate that they had to go through that D: so doing that would be extremely helpful if it's possible
@krang0r@RedScare19_ depending on what your child (can't tell if you're saying you are non binary or your child is) wants I think aside from just treating them how they ask to be you could take them to the relevant routes to get puberty blockers / eventually hrt since that can take time for minors
