Frederik the Great is a Friesian stallion that lives in Arkansas's Ozark Mountains. He was imported to this farm from the Netherlands when he was six years old.
He became known for unofficially being the "world's most handsome horse".
I’ve had a lot of people asking me about the botched execution of Christa Pike in Tennessee, as well as the upcoming execution by firing squad that’s supposed to be livestreamed. Having spent nearly 20 years on death row, my thoughts and feelings about these things are so vast that I sometimes struggle to find a place to begin. I became close friends with a man who had committed murder. He was like a brother to me. I once watched him break down crying, trembling as he told me he wished he was as evil as the world believed him to be, because then he wouldn’t have to care about what he’d done. Fifteen years later, he was still having nightmares about it. I know in my soul that he would never hurt another person again. But I’ve also watched a man being stabbed to death in prison. I cried for days afterward, and something inside me was changed forever. I learned that some people are capable of extraordinary transformation, while others remain capable of terrible violence even behind prison walls. There are no simple answers here. No slogans or political arguments that can adequately address the complexity of human beings, guilt, punishment, and suffering.
But there is one thing I want to say about the upcoming execution by firing squad. Don’t watch it. Whatever you believe about the death penalty, even if you think the person being executed deserves to die, don’t watch it. You cannot witness a human being being killed and simply walk away unchanged. What you see becomes part of you. It follows you into places you never expected it to reach. There are things I witnessed in prison that I would give anything to forget, things that still cast a shadow over my life decades later. There’s a difference between understanding that terrible things happen in the world and deliberately making yourself a spectator to them. I don’t have all the answers about justice, punishment, or forgiveness. But I do know that killing another human being should never become so ordinary that we turn it into something to watch from the comfort of our living rooms.
🚨BREAKING: aborted baby harvesting company Cercle Allocation Services charged UCLA $765 per body part, according to new public records documents obtained by @CtrMedProgress
This is the same company that took possession of baby Clementine as we reported over the summer.
This is extremely difficult to read, 1,000 pages of suffering reported to V-Safe (how about that name, huh?). Just take a look at a few.

Did you ever hear of a snug?
A snug is a small, deeply cozy room in a home designed as an intimate sanctuary away from the hustle of open-concept spaces. Characterized by its enclosed, compact footprint, this room typically embraces a warm and moody aesthetic with rich paint colors, plush seating, soft textiles, and layered, dim lighting. Unlike formal living rooms meant for entertaining, a snug functions as a private, distraction-free retreat dedicated to ultimate relaxation, reading, movie-watching, or quiet conversation.
@NewEmergingKing I’m old enough to remember when they sent a boy out with you to put your groceries in your vehicle & take the cart back in. Not to mention hiring cashiers… So no, it’s actually their job. But I’m usually polite enough to do it.
My 12 yo is taking an etymology class and is learning all of these. Once you know Greek & Latin roots of English all words become fantastic little puzzles. Highly Recommend!
@kateiswell I plan to lose the jar, especially if it’s a bday or Christmas gift, but I usually tell people that refills are more likely if I get the jar back.
Virginity at marriage used to be expected. Now it's mocked.
We've created a culture where a woman who saves herself is called repressed, and a woman who gives herself to dozens of men is called empowered.
But the data is clear: women who had zero sexual partners before marriage report the highest levels of marital satisfaction. Every additional partner before marriage statistically decreases the likelihood that the marriage will last.
The pair bonding that happens during physical intimacy is real. It's hormonal. It's designed to attach you to one person for life. Every time you bond and break, the mechanism weakens.
Your grandmother wasn't naive for saving herself. She was protecting something precious.
