By being “publicly owned” #Bears would get the tax certainty they need to fund the stadium. Since they’re still funding it, they would keep the revenue and likely eventually own it once it’s paid off. That’s the gist of it as I understand it.

Hard to imagine lawmakers would be drawing something up Bears wouldn’t want at this point.
