I entered a Maruwa today and the person driving it was my long-time friend who left our area after hitting over ₦30 million from Yahoo.
I almost couldn't believe it was him.
He got married almost immediately and spent heavily on the wedding.
After everything, he was left with about ₦15 million.
He relocated, bought a car, opened a unisex salon and kept the rest for his tools and work.
But he kept buying more tools and paying for updates, believing another big deal would come.
When he could no longer maintain the car, he sold it.
He kept spending until the money eventually finished.
Desperate to get back on his feet, he sold the salon and everything inside.
It still wasn't enough.
His wife is now heavily pregnant.
Then today, I entered a Maruwa and saw him behind the wheel.
He told me he collected it on installment just to have something to use to make money.
As we rise this morning, may we never take the gift of waking up healthy and seeing another day for granted.
May God keep us, guide us, and give us countless reasons to be grateful throughout this week.
The day will be peaceful and will not end without us 🙏
Shalom 💟

You maybe Solomon in wisdom, David in praise, Abraham in faith or Joshua in war; if you are not Joseph in discipline you will end like Samson in destruction
One thing about life is that, when our time comes, we will leave everything behind. We came with nothing, and we will take nothing with us. So while you’re here, enjoy your life, create beautiful memories, and make the most of every moment. ❤️🙏
If we're going to accept the parts of the Bible that talk about God's love and grace, then we must also accept the parts of the Bible that call for our repentance and holiness.
Whatever you do, pray for the ability to see your own sins, your own hypocrisy, and your own shortcomings. Never get so carried away pointing fingers that you forget you, too, fall short.
Normalize keeping the best parts of your life to yourself—not because you aren't supposed to share, but because some things thrive better in privacy. Some joy is more powerful when it's protected.
@renoomokri If Peter Obi eventually win the next presidential election, you still have the way you can manover and join his government. But the magic will fail you this time
Remember that life is not a competition. Everyone has a different path, different timing, and different lessons to learn. Focus on your own progress and trust your own journey.
Most of us are quietly overcoming challenges that nobody knows about, yet we keep smiling to give hope to those who depend on us and to show that better days are ahead.
