There's an even bigger issue than this, actually. "Saving money," makes almost zero sense in times of very serious inflation. You either HAVE to spend your money now, or watch as your buying power gets cut into nothing in fairly short order.
"Why would I eat high-quality chicken that isn't disgusting? I'll just eat the cat food chicken"
We are supposed to share a country with these subhumans.
This is 100% accurate. The boomer says “why are young people paying $28 for lunch? THATS why you’re struggling”
The same boomer, would go out to eat and get the same meal for $11.49, in his day
The boomer spending $28 on lunch, in his day, would have been extravagant spending.
The boomer cannot comprehend that the same $11.49 sandwich, drink, and fries he would get on his lunch break, now costs $28
They simply cannot comprehend it. Boomers can’t conceptualize the inflation that they themselves created
>did zoomers get into the meat grinder
No, and neither did any of the boomers talking shit. You knew a guy who knew a guy who saw combat. Many of you were hippies who spat on the drafted as the lucky returned
>20% mortgage
Mortgages were 7.75% in 71, it was largely GenX who paid the high of 18.63% in 81. I will buy any house off a boomer for 18% mortgage, but I will pay the 1981 value (adjusted for inflation). That'd be 270k~ today on a 90k 80s sale. Im allowed up to 50% down. DMs open.
>lose pensions
Cant lose what you never had.
>had entire industries close down
Every CS grad is laughing into a coma at this, while being told to apply to Panda Express.
>wait in line for gas
While CA was short gas, other areas in the country had a surplus. The "shortage" was caused by Jimmy Carter price controls. You literally did that to yourselves.
But do go on.
The richest country in the history of mankind is 40 trillion in debt, the majority of its local governments are on the brink of insolvency, and its youth cannot find jobs or afford shelter.
In response, the richest country in the history of mankind tells its youth to eat PB&Js.
youre a 52 year old man making $3 ham sandwiches for lunch talking down to young people online like its an accomplishment and youre a paragon of financial wisdom. dude, you lived through some of the most prosperous decades on earth and youre still poor. you fucking failed at life
@karomismh Out of the shower, I use:

There needs to be a universal standard for copyright law. Everyone's attitude is based upon their country's laws, and thereby, we need to recognize that transformative work such as rhythm game maps do not infringe on copyright, and blocking them merely shuns future creativity.
@Lumi_SPARK Just as they have their right to not share their music and associate with osu! in any regard, I have my right to criticize their choices and especially the way they went about it. Copyright weaponizes itself against creativity and innovation and prevents art from becoming better.
@Lumi_SPARK Immature children exist on the internet and in the osu community. What a shocking discovery there. I still stand by my opinion that the decision Hisa made to not associate with rhythm game communities is a poor and selfish one, and all it does is create enemies out of your fans.
@tkqn14 Nice subtweet ☺️
No one in the history of YouTube copyright drama has a rights holder ever looked good taking down random no-name fans who want to share their work.
Hisa's prior hatred of rhythm game communities is a problem of their making, and they could've worked with them.
Just because it's your legal right doesn't mean people won't hate you for it or that it's the sensible thing to do. You were so careless about striking channels that it caused a justified backlash, and now you're crying that the community you despise now doesn't like you back.
