Treating someone as a god or god like is not the same as teaching that someone is a God. Allah asked if Jesus ever taught people to worship him and his mother as gods besides Allah. Its that simple.

This type of articulation is foreign to Christians in their entire tradition, no heretics ever accused the trinitarians of worshipping Allah as third of three.
