In school a group of LA foley artists visited and were asked to mimic a fish out of water. An artist with rubber gloves took a telephone book & proceeded to act out the fish flopping around on it. Was amazing, her hands became the fish, foley art. #foley #gameaudio #sounddesign

@nadiaudio Pink Pearl on Hastings just before Clark Dr traveling east. It's a classic, been around for years, a little pricier than others but it's the main place to go for good dim sum and a good one to keep coming back to when coming to town.

@CristobalMusic I saw The Evil Dead at a sleepover when I was about 10. Scared the breath out of us but left an indelible mark. Loved the series later, ED2 is so underrated imo, very creative.

@jbuaudio A friend of mine who grew up farming and within the farming community, in Canada also, mentioned to me something like that. "Never return anything empty" like my hot sauce jars after I gave him homemade hot sauce. Possibly a rural/self sustaining farm community thing?
