If you're in YYC and or can be on June 6th (D-Day Anniversary), the @JunoBeachCentre is having it's first ever fundraising gala. We will be honoured to have the Victoria Cross of Major David Currie (Southern Alberta Regiment) on-loan from the Canadian War Museum - which brings a heavy weight of remembrance and reverence into the room.
There are a small selection of unique sponsorship opportunities, which would include a table. The event is intimate (150-160) if you would want to secure a table, this is one way to do that.
It's at the amazing @CPKCrail historical event centre which features the rail car used by Winston Churchill as he rallied Canada in the war effort during WWII.
It will be a highly curated event, which will include some military pageantry, the Victoria Cross of course, and the emotional weight of our museum enjoyed here in Canada for a night.
We are also grateful for those who might want to feature their business or organization by donating a silent or live auction item that fits into the event. Hit me up!

On Juno Beach, courage came at an immeasurable cost. Ross Munro’s words remind us that behind every step forward on D-Day were Canadians who gave everything some for only moments of triumph, but for a legacy that endures generations.
Honour the legacy of the 14,000 Canadians who landed on Juno Beach on D-Day.

Project Athena is looking for sponsors.
I started Project Athena to save our history— there are 40,000 veterans’ stories that deserve to be heard. We built this from the ground up, and it’s already helping vets share their experiences and help people understand the war they fought in.
We’re growing fast, but we need partners to keep it going. Know a company, veteran group, or regimental association who’d want to support this?
