One of the biggest mistakes I see in recruiting... 👇

Young players acting like certain opportunities are "beneath" them.

A chance to play college baseball...at the NCAA Division I, II, III, JUCO, or NAIA level - is something very few people ever get.

Someone believes in you.
Someone is willing to invest time, money, coaching, and a roster spot in your future.

That's not something to take for granted.
That's something to be humbled by.

Be grateful. Keep developing. Keep earning.

The logo on the jersey doesn't determine how far you'll go.

Your work ethic, development, and performance does. ⚾️

Index Funds to Backbone Portfolio

It may prove very wise to make Index Funds the backbone of your portfolio. Safe, modest returns over long-periods of time can protect and grow your assets and wealth. With that said, I believe that it is prudent to seek "higher risk" opportunities. For me that would include high yield ETFs such as @TappAlphaFunds and @NEOSInvestments and Bitcoin/Crypto investing that could "potentially" produce 10X or more returns within short periods of time to rocket your wealth.

ROBBERY: Miami Mayor Eileen Higgins promised a “deep dive” to find waste and misuse in the city budget — which has DOUBLED in the last 5 years with 77% going to salaries and benefits. Instead, Higgins wants a HALF-A-BILLION DOLLAR credit card while we’re already drowning in debt from Marlins Park and other high interest bonds.

Salaries for Miami city employees are up 54% and benefits up 62% in the last three years and the number of city hall insiders making over $200,000 has DOUBLED in two years. While regular Miami residents — with a median household income of $66,000 — have only seen a 2-3% increase in wages per year.

And now Higgins, city manager James Reyes (salary: $475,000 and lives in Broward), Commissioner Damian Pardo and city attorney George Wysong (salary: $417,000 and doesn’t live in the city) are covering up public records that document how much taxpayer money they actually pay out to city workers. #BecauseMiami
