Ramin was his cousin. The son of that same uncle. He was shot dead in the streets of Isfahan during the protests. Now the regime has hanged the other one. At dawn. In secret.

This is what the Islamic Republic calls justice: 18 days of torture. Electric shocks. A forced confession. A trial lasting minutes. An appeal thrown out in less than 48 hours. A gallows built beside a Revolutionary Guard executioner.

They think the rope will end the uprising. The rope is only creating more anger towards society.

When I talk to any of the family members of those who are in prison on the death road, they have a simple demand: tel the world: #StopExecutionsInIran, demand accountability for these unlawful executions. Sanction the judges and executioners. Silence is complicity.

President Trump’s decision to lift sanctions on Russian fuel amidst Putin’s ongoing and brutal attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine makes no sense and is a betrayal of the legacy and leadership of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.

While Ukraine fights for its survival, Putin’s war machine continues to prosecute his terrorist war on civilian populations and innocent Ukrainians are dying every day.

Now, Instead of implementing the tough sanctions Lindsey Graham fought to his last breath to enact, President Trump has announced the United States is lifting sanctions on Russian energy, fueling the Putin’s war machine.

As I saw firsthand in Ukraine last month, Putin is losing this war. Ukraine has fought the Russian military to a standstill and reinvented warfare with drones taking the fight into the heart of Russia.

America should not be throwing a lifeline to Putin’s war machine. Now is the time to stand strong against Russian aggression as we did during the first Trump administration.

Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine. I have no doubt that if Putin overruns Ukraine, it will only be a matter of time until Russia’s military crosses a border that our troops will have to deal with him.

America is the Leader of the Free World. For our National Security, for the security of our Allies in Europe including Ukraine, President Trump should rescind this deal immediately and return to the strong policies of our four years in the White House; impose harsh sanctions on any nation purchasing Russian energy and work with our allies to ensure Ukraine has the military support it needs to repel and defeat this Russian invasion once and for all. What allowing Russia to sell oil products means was heard most clearly in Kyiv just now, when, after repeated attacks on energy facilities with jet-powered “shaheds,” Russia launched a ballistic missile attack as well. Some of the missiles were intercepted. This once again clearly demonstrates Russia’s true intentions. They count on prolonging the war, terrorizing ordinary people, and destroying infrastructure.

Every additional billion dollars they can earn from exports will be spent on nothing but sourcing and importing critical components and equipment to manufacture weapons, upgrading “shaheds,” producing missiles, and recruiting even more mercenaries to fight at the front. Russia’s choice is war. And they will be ready to end it only when they feel that their ability to drag the war out is diminishing.

Unfortunately, the signals Russia received yesterday were entirely different – signals suggesting that it could simply keep attacking. And this needs to be corrected. Strong signals are needed from the United States, Europe, and other partners – signals in support of Ukraine and to RESTRICT Russia’s ability to wage war and terrorize people. nikdy v životě by mě nenapadlo, že budu muset prosit o pomoc pro sebe.
Upřímně – je mi neuvěřitelně trapné to psát. I když racionálně moc dobře chápu, že to není žádná „ostudná“ nemoc a moje vina v tom není, poprosit o pomoc sama za sebe se ukázalo jako to nejtěžší. Trvalo mi to nějaký čas a stálo mě to spoustu vnitřních sil, než jsem vůbec našla odvahu stisknout tlačítko „zveřejnit“.
Diagnostikovali mi novotvar čelisti. Předběžná diagnóza zní – ameloblastom.
Je to velmi vzácná věc: podle statistik je průměrný výskyt pouhých 0,92 případu na milion lidí ročně. A tenhle „jeden z milionu“ padl z nějakého důvodu zrovna na mě.
Právě kvůli této vzácnosti je chirurgů-specialistů, kteří mají s touto diagnózou reálné zkušenosti, doslova jako šafránu.
Navíc to, zda je tento novotvar nezhoubný, nebo ne, budou schopni s jistotou říct až po operaci a histologii.
Čeká mě těžká cesta: další vyšetření a náročná operace v obličeji.
Chci vás poprosit o pomoc s nalezením těch, kteří opravdu vědí, jak s tímto pracovat. Je pro mě naprosto kritické získat konzultaci od několika odborníků a najít chirurga, kterému budu moci bezvýhradně svěřit své zdraví, svůj obličej a svou budoucnost.
Možná si někdo z vás prošel něčím podobným sám. Možná jste pomáhali někomu blízkému. Nebo znáte maxilofaciálního (čelistního a obličejového) chirurga či kliniku – na Ukrajině nebo v zahraničí –, kde se na takové případy specializují a úspěšně je operují.
Prosím, pokud máte jakékoli kontakty, radu nebo osobní zkušenost – ozvěte se. I ta nejmenší stopa nebo jen sdílení tohoto příspěvku pro mě teď mohou být rozhodující.
Momentálně to pro mě opravdu není vůbec jednoduché. Před vyšetřeními jsem musela vysadit léky, které mi vždycky pomáhaly udržet si psychiku v těch nejtěžších chvílích, takže mě strach a úzkost občas úplně paralyzují. Učím se ale věřit, že požádat o pomoc není slabost. Je to moje vědomé rozhodnutí bojovat.
Děkuji každému, kdo si to přečte, kdo bude tento příspěvek sdílet nebo mi doporučí odborníka. Pro mě to není jen o kontaktech – je to o pocitu, že v téhle temnotě nezůstávám sama. ❤️
