McCarthy, Senator McTurtle and the rest of them could have stood fast and together and have agreed that Trump crossed a line that could not be crossed. But of course, they failed to do that. And with that, my sympathy was gone forever.

I almost feel sorry for Keven McCarthy. But, McCarthy lost my respect permanently when he was back down to Mar-a-Lago kowtowing before the Great Pumpkin less than a week after the January 6th insurrection.
