@EricLDaugh My Social Security number was stolen, and I’ve tried for almost two years to get to the bottom of it, to no avail. Income of over $60K in 2024 is reported on my earnings statement, although I’m retired and haven’t worked in over 5 years. Maddening! 🤬
Love you, @tobymac! I, too, lost my firstborn son, my only son/child. And when I was at my lowest, it was you, your music, your words, that pulled me through and led me back to God. And still, to this day, I turn to God and to your wonderful, joyous music to help me make it through another day without my Joey. 🙏💔😢💪
@BasedMikeLee@SecRubio Very disappointing, Mike. 🥺 First of all, you should know the Constitution, right? 📜 Secondly, you could have called SecRubio directly right? ☎️ You do have his number, I assume? 🔢 What were you doing, taking the room's temperature before committing to a position?
@WaltIsHereNow@TriciaOhio None! Mine was stolen, and I've reported it multiple times over the last year. The SSA will not even send a confirmation of the report, and no correction has issued. Infuriating!!!! 🤬
@redsteeze Intellectual honesty is underrated and sorely lacking in what passes for journalism today. No matter who you voted for or support politically, your takes are the ones I seek out on a regular basis. For what it's worth, from a Trump/MAGA supporter.
@EndWokeness Make that leftist boomers. Some of us are normal Americans that have always loved our country, grew up listening to Rush Limbaugh, and never fell for the MSM lies.
I’m getting grief for ripping the 38 Republicans who voted “no” on the CR Trump wanted approved.
“Muh principles…”
Do you know how you got Obamacare? Do you know how you got a bloated federal bureaucracy that seeks to control every aspect of your life? Do you know how you got insane laws on ridiculous social matters like transgenderism? Do you know how?
BECAUSE DEMOCRATS VOTE EN MASSE IN FAVOR OF WHAT THEIR LEADERSHIP TELLS THEM TO VOTE FOR AND REPUBLICANS HAVE “MUH PRINCIPLES.”
Yes, principles and morality are good. Dissent is good. But not always—not when small principles destroy bigger principles. SOMETIMES you have a brief window where uniting behind a visionary leader is absolutely necessary even if he/she deviates from your principles in certain areas of lesser importance. In American history, transformational leaders rarely arise, and when they do they usually have a brief window to effect meaningful change, and that window rapidly closes.
Donald Trump is such a transformational leader.
His window is right now until about a year from now, then it closes.
Those 38 Republicans and their apologists? They are not thinking strategically and they are blowing our window to pieces. Donald Trump just accomplished the political equivalent of turning water into wine. Trust the man. Give him what he wants. At least for the next 12 months or so. Then if it’s not working, have at your principles.
Or else enjoy always losing in the long run while the Democrats always win in the long run.
And oh yeah. I have principles. My #1 principle is turning back the Neo-Marxist onslaught of Democrat policies. Why is that not your #1 principle too?
Geez Louise. How is this not obvious?
