The Planning and Development Division is responsible for the coordination of all construction, expansion and modernization of schools within Jurupa Unified.

UPDATE @Jurupa_Middle Modernization Project:

Contractors completed the 1st classroom building modernization. Improvements to the classrooms include new roof, ceiling, lights, doors, windows, wall surface, carpet, whiteboards & projectors. The 2nd phase is well underway.

@Troth_JUSD Modernization Project:

We are excited to share the construction continues in the 1st phase of the modernization. This includes the construction of a new MPR, office, kindergarten building, & the modernization of one permanent classroom building.

UPDATE @DelSolAcademy Classroom Addition Project:
The new single-story 6 classroom building is complete and occupied. Over the summer, 6 interim housing portables were installed to accommodate full-day TK/K enrollment at the site!

Camino Real ES Portable Additions:

Over the summer, two new portable classrooms were installed near the front of the campus. The landscaping around the building & additional improvements at the parking lot to comply with State Architect requirements are being scheduled.

Contractors are moving along and the first phase will be completed this summer with staff moving into the first renovated classroom building for the new school year.

Contractors continue working to install the final finishes at the building. The new building will be moved into during Summer 2023!

Contractors are working hard to get the final finishes installed. To not disrupt student testing periods and end of year activities, the new classroom building will be moved into during Summer 2023.

Contractors have poured the structural footings, and poured the slab on grade back. Contractors have started the structural upgrades to the roof.

UPDATE @Rubidoux_JUSD Concert Hall Project:

Contractors are working hard to get the final finishes installed. The final exterior finishes have started including installing the metal panels and fencing.
Sound, lighting, and other theatrical controls are also in the works!

We are happy to share that is anticipated the building will be substantially complete in January.

Interior and exterior work to complete the building is ongoing. It is anticipated the new building will be substantially complete in February 2023!

Site concrete and landscaping are still continuing. Interior finishes are also ongoing.

Roofing has started on the flat roof. Interior floor work and prep is ongoing.

Installation of site utilities continues. Seismic upgrades have started at the footings of the building.

The wood framing of the new classroom building is complete, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation is in progress. Installation of window and door frames has also started.
