After Ubisoft cancelled its Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake, GOG has released an enhanced version of the original classic.
The original Sands of Time is now part of GOG’s Preservation Program, with several improvements for modern PCs.
GOG says:
“Ubisoft’s remake was officially cancelled, so we took the matters into our own hands.”
They also described the game as “a masterpiece” that “deserves to be played as intended.”
„It’s complicated“

I’m sorry for having such a wild expectation as not being stolen from.
Fun fact: even the EU Commission itself has pointed out that we are not asking for anything that infringes IP law.
And if we were — 1.4 million Europeans, and millions more worldwide, are asking you to do something about it anyway. Remind us: who’s the sovereign again?
If you are dissatisfied with PlayStation halting the production of physical game discs, address your concerns to the SONY GROUP Board of Directors. Put your thoughts into a polite and respectful one-page typed letter to the SONY Group in Japan. See image. Please repost.
@lmkifiwin@DoesItPlay1 Sooo what happens after those 7 days? Everyone just gets back online? Do you think they’re going to give a shit? This is fucking hilarious
Last week, Playstation PSN was down. Today, XBOX has been down for over 15 hours
Clearly, they don't have the infrastructure to be digital only for consoles. Physical games NEED to be an option for people no matter (with offline play)
