@YusufAsunmogejo The problem is once it gets to religion everybody wants to act civilized and call it a myth, 80% of those condemning the post are not even concerned about the proposed ingredients or its acceptability with modern medicine, they just saw an opportunity to criticize religion
Allah has not sent down a disease except with its cure. Those who know know and those who do not, do not know.
As much as there is a cure for every disease, there are incurable cases — Allah might decree that the sufferer's appointed time has come— so the fact that a remedy works does not mean it will work for everyone.
I have at least 4 naturopaths on my contact, one of them is an international alternative medicine practitioner with a school and clinic where health is cultivated naturally and I make bold to say that believe it or not, these individuals have handled cases which were thought to be critical, with success. This is not to downplay the significance of medicine and surgery, but to reconcile, as Muslims the medical impossibilities/limitations and the Muslim faith that every disease has a cure.
The fact that every disease has a cure doesn't mean the cure must be made in a lab, especially when Allah gives the knowledge to whom He wills, not necessarily a scientist.
Despite this, a Muslim must only seek cure through permitted means.
Someone on here is suggesting that Ogogo be taken to a 'redemption camp' belonging to RCCG for "miracle" which makes one probe whether Christians do not die of cancer, despite being taken to miracle centres.
Seeking cure from other than Allah is a subtle admission that Allah, the one who is As-Shāfee is unable to cure you (iyaadhan billaah), you thereby become kāfir and the one whom you seek for cure would not avail you anything except misguidance.
This is from the plots of shaytān, trying to make Muslims fall into kufr at such vulnerable times such as when they are terminally ill and at such time, it is only those who have ikhās that Allah will make steadfast because shaytān himself acknowledges that he can't misguide the mukhlas/mukhlis:
إلا عبادك منهم المخلصين
And one cannot affirm ikhlās for self that is why the salaf would say they are not free from the schemes of shaytān until they have died upon Islām.
Like the story of an 'ābid in Al-hashr, who succumbed to the schemes of shaytān at the 11th hour of his life and that earned him jahannam for him to abide therein forever, together with shaytān. After living all his life as not just a Muslim, but a devout. One moment of disbelief changed everything.
May Allah grant healing to the sick and forgive the dead.
