On second thought, Steph cooking LeBron might be my personal favorite. Bron got in his face, Steph changed speeds, blew right by him and kissed it high off the glass like he wasn’t even there 👨🍳😭
Kobe Bryant's final season, D-Wade interrupts his presser after a Heat-Lakers game. They had dinner plans together and start joking. Kobe then praises Wade:
"I love him. He was a vicious competitor. He's vicious, he's mean. We could have those type of battles then afterwards hang out, have a conversation, lace 'em up, and go right back at it. I enjoyed competing against him. The hardest player I had to guard in screen and roll. He'd come off a screen and disappear."
I miss watching these two compete against each other.
Lebron quit vs the Celtics in 2010. The Cavs owner called him a quitter. Lebron said he was going to Miami for a chance to win. That means he didn’t think he had a chance to win in CLE. He QUIT in the 2011 finals. His own teammate Eddie House said he quit. He quit in the 2018 finals. Steven Jackson said he quit. The whole broadcast team said he quit. Those are just the most obvious times that he quit.
How you gonna be the GOAT if you’re a QUITTER??? How you gonna be GOAT when you left your team because you didn’t even believe you could win???
The whole world knows
KILLER mentality > Quitter mentality
Enough! — LeBron has played with more talent than any other superstar in NBA history.
The talent pool is so deep and ridiculous, that I decided to make a depth chart out of all of the great players he rode on the coattails of. Here we go…….
Roster - PPG. (year before playing with LeBron)
Starters:
PG Luka Doncic- 33.9
SG D’Wyane Wade- 26.6
SF Jaylen Brown- 28.7
PF Kevin Love 26.1
C Anthony Davis 25.9
Bench:
PG Kyrie Irving 20.8
SG Tyrese Maxey- 28.3
SF Antawn Jamison 22.2
PF Chris Bosh- 24.0
C Joel Embiid- 26.9
Non rotation:
PG Isaiah Thomas 28.9
SG Russell Westbrook 22.2
PG Derrick Rose 18.0
C Shaquille O’Neal 17.8
C Dwight Howard 16.6
The rest- Austin Reaves (NCAA), Mo Williams (NCAA), Ray Allen, Carmelo Anthony, Deron Williams, Rajon Rondo, Ben Wallace, Carlos Boozer, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Andre Drummond, D’Angelo Russell, Rashard Lewis, Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle, Ben Wallace, etc. (I could go on, but you get the picture)
Then they have the audacity to mention some Scottie Pippen! I don’t want to ever hear this man’s name in the same breath with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, or any Top 5 player.
When you have played with this supporting cast, 3.5 rings and a losing record in the NBA Finals ain’t cutting it.
It’s over.
Kobe on ring chasing:
“I’m not gonna leave, I have the Lakers in my blood, this is home to me.”
“As a leader you can’t just leave, you gotta take the good with the bad. You can’t just like, if the ship is sinking, jump off and swim to another ship.”
LeBron will never be Kobe.
LeBron gets Shaq, D-Wade, Bosh, Ray Allen, Kyrie, Kevin Love, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, Luka Doncic, Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown...
But y'all wanna complain about MJ having Pippen.
