“Barcelona’s academy is at least 10x better.”
Sorry to break it but it’s not, that is a PR illusion and La Fabrica is first in players that are in top-5 leagues.
Anomaly examples do not speak of the whole structure or development- it’s rather a false narrative that isn’t supported by any sort of metric.
The usage is different, the style of development is different- Barcelona usually develops to use (barely) and that confines their players in certain styles or skills while Real Madrid takes a broader approach of development meaning their players are far less of a risk for teams to sign them.
Also track record + players that made a career coming from La Fabrica is much higher than La Masia and these clubs haven’t existed or modelled for one generation.
Assuming one is better than the other based on anomalies is absurd way of looking at things, especially how far more dominant Real Madrid products are across multiple teams and leagues that indeed support the success of said.
Gustavo Fring was right, if you have a problem that means it can be solved. If it cannot be solved then it is not a problem. It is a reality to be accepted.
Harta ya de los saltitos en los penales; hace falta un indígena como Jamie Vardy que tire trallazos con el coraje reprimido de una infancia llena de discriminación y privaciones.
