Atlanta Dream ticket demand has risen 91% in Angel Reese’s first season with the team, the largest jump in the WNBA from last season, and they’ve also drawn 48% more fans from outside of Georgia.
The Angel Reese effect is real.
Dean Taylor was recording Buffalo police from across the street, which he had every right to do, and he says it ended with a beating and an arrest. A jury let the officers off the hook, but a judge just changed the direction of the story. https://t.co/5o5tDxyUhH
Listen to @JayBilas . College athletes create enormous economic value for schools, conferences, the NCAA, broadcasters, media companies, and more. It’s fundamentally unfair to restrict athletes’ rights while leaving other powerful actors in the college sports ecosystem largely unconstrained.

A new report says Donald Trump's name has come up in talks about a site with some heavy history, and the reaction online was swift. Trump denied it in classic Trump fashion, with a few choice words and a question about who would even want that. https://t.co/wLC19ZPhj2

Nick Saban is right that player and coach pay are "totally different markets." What he's ignoring is that in every other American sport that generates the type of revenue college football generates, the best players make WAY more than the best coaches.
🚨 BREAKING: Texas state Rep. Gina Hinojosa has filed an official request to inspect unredacted communications between Gov. Greg Abbott’s office and Elon Musk and his companies, after roughly 1,400 pages of records released last year were heavily redacted.
The state previously argued that portions of the communications could be withheld because they contained “intimate and embarrassing information.”
In a letter sent to Abbott’s office today, Hinojosa invokes a provision of the Texas Public Information Act governing information requested by lawmakers for legislative purposes. She is seeking the same records previously released to the Texas Newsroom, but “without any redactions whatsoever,” including material deemed “embarrassing” or “intimate.”
Hinojosa says the records could shed new light on Musk’s relationship with Abbott, including his companies’ lucrative state contracts and tax incentives, as well as Musk’s campaign contributions. She argues Musk has turned Texas into a corporate playground and says greater transparency is needed to expose what she describes as corruption in Abbott’s relationship with powerful tech interests.
She is requesting that Abbott’s office arrange an inspection of both the redacted and unredacted records on or around October 13.
Now Texans may finally learn what was considered so “intimate and embarrassing” that it was kept from public view.

God isn’t negotiating what’s next just because you’re afraid to leave what’s familiar.
Growth can be scary, but staying comfortable can cost you what He’s trying to lead you into. Make the move... the blessing may be waiting on the other side. 🖤
