Brands really do look down on African content creators sometimes.

At the same time, some creators are part of the problem. They accept payments, fail to deliver on what was agreed, and then come up with one excuse after another instead of taking responsibility.

That kind of behavior hurts everyone. It damages trust, makes brands more hesitant to work with African creators, and creates fewer opportunities for those who are genuinely professional.

Not every creator is like this, but as an industry, we have to value integrity just as much as we value getting the deal. Thinking only about personal gain today can cost the entire community bigger opportunities tomorrow.
