today there are big rigs, propane tanks & so many ppl more gathered. the cops have not used pepper spray, no batons & have only made 17 arrests.

i don't support police violence. i am 100% for defunding the police.

but the difference between the two responses can't be ignored.

i can't stop thinking about the violence i witnessed the police display when we stood with encampment residents - homeless ppl with nowhere else to go.
they had backpacks, cigarettes, tents, art, clothes.
police used their batons, pepper spray, made many quick arrests.
