With less than 6 months left before elections, to retain a 50 + 1 SWAPO needs to start playing chess and not checkers on the political landscape. Until now they’ve been campaigning and that strategy isn’t enough for a ruling party, what the electoral needs to see is action
(1.) Simple improved economic involvement, the procurement policy needs to change and allow space for SME partnership with MSM.
(2.) They need to sacrifice a couple of pawns inorder to make space for a checkmate, that is removing gatekeepers from certain industries.
