@Avabelly__ 20% is my minimum, regardless, but you also have to factor in how many people were in the group and if the server had to spend extra time at your table, and away from other guests that they could get additional tips from.

@Avabelly__ No it’s not. If you had a $2,000 bill and tipped $100, would that be reasonable to you? I sure hope not. 20% would be $400. Even if you only tipped $200, that’s still only 10%. So $100 would be FIVE PERCENT. If you can afford a $500 meal, you can afford to tip $100
