Pep Guardiola on what makes #ManCity so good: “The player care department, for example. I don't know if it exists in other clubs, this department is unbelievable. You need something for the family, send flowers to your mum, whatever, always they can help, we do that.
"The food is exceptional, cooks are top. My CEO, my chairman, in the day of the game, they're there, supporting all the time. It's a big club, but it’s a family.
"After that, there are disappointments, especially play [time]. But the only I say to the club, ‘Try the players to be disappointed because they don't play, not for the rest’. The rest, no one can complain. No one. They don't complain. If they're unhappy because they don't play, that’s normal, understandable, it's impossible. Talking here, talking to your wife, girlfriends, what they need in their personal lives, families when they come, how they care when family is here, mothers and fathers, aunts or whoever, how everything is sorted - there’s much more.
"Another one: in Covid time. How many all around the world, in clubs, how many people were fired? Here, not even once. The same salary, no reduction. The same. In the toughest moment in our lives, always there, not even once in that building and the other was out - the same.
"Many examples. It's really, really good. Extraordinary club..." [via @HaytersTV]
“Everyone else would sell out Wembley!”
No they wouldn’t.
Pep has taken City to Wembley 23 (TWENTY THREE) times in less than 10 years.
Klopp is 2nd in that time with 6 visits.
It’s completely unaffordable to do it time and time again.
These Semi Finals never used to be, and should never now be at Wembley.
Darren Fletcher- "Alex Ferguson in attendance today, had great relationship with the FA Cup"
He refused to play in it one year you fuckin bell end.....
Talk absolute bollox from start to finish
I’m not really sure it’s fair to label a man with Tourette’s as racist without understanding the condition.
John Davidson is a Tourette’s sufferer and long-time campaigner who has worked hard to raise awareness of a disorder that can cause involuntary outbursts sometimes including offensive or shocking words.
I completely understand people’s shock and why many are hurt by what was said the reaction is valid. But it’s also important to recognise that Tourette’s is a neurological disability, and involuntary tics are not a reflection of someone’s beliefs or character.
We should hold space for those affected while also showing compassion and understanding toward someone living with a condition they don’t control.
Truly laughable seeing the pathetic American clowns crying racism against a brilliant, heroic campaigner who has done more for real, ordinary people who have struggled than any dull, overpaid actor ever could.
John Davidson should apologise to no one, they should apologise to him
