Police in Lenasia South are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Keseabetswe Excelia Kgantlapane, who was reported #missing.

Kgantlapane was last seen by her sister on Saturday, 19 September 2026, when she left home without informing anyone where she was going. She has not been seen since.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing brown tracksuit pants, black and white sports shoes, a brown pyjama top and a black and white jacket.

Anyone who may have information regarding Kgantlapane’s whereabouts is urged to contact the investigating officer, Constable ED Anthony, on 016 466 2352.

POLICE UPDATE ON FOUR BODIES: The first body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered on 15 July near the R21. She was found naked and strained with cable ties. The suspect in the case is in custody.

The second body of a 32-year-old woman was found on 24 August at the same spot. She was found partially clothed. No arrests have been made in the case yet.

The third body was discovered on the 10th of September. The body was found naked, at an advanced stage of decomposition. The identification process is still underway.

The fourth body of a 38-year-old woman was found behind a hotel in Rhodesfield yesterday. The body was clothed in sportswear. The family is set to identify the body tomorrow.
