48 hours into building just a backpack game. 🎒

Thanks to all the beta testers and your feedback! If you beta test, please use the community feedback board & upvote your favorites. We’ll prioritize the most-loved suggestions & the unexpected ones that click.

We already implemented some fixes: wallet sign-in to keep your traveler + progress, smoother dice and PvP WAO betting, better gear saving, & updated the dice room interior/join table mechanics.

Next up: 100 limited-edition OG Founders Backpacks, planned for purchase with JBP, then player trading and some RuneScape-inspired collecting.

Still very early. Keep the feedback coming, bear with the bugs, and we’ll keep shipping. WAO.

You can already walk around, chat, customize your traveler, collect gear, and play free dice inspired by the original Discord games.

The bigger idea is a social Web3 world with RuneScape-style quests, progression and player trading—eventually bringing in AI characters, in-game agents you can trade with, & justabackpack token integration.

Looking for eight people who want to help shape it: join a couple of playtests, give honest feedback, & help decide where we take this. Builders, artists, traders and people with good ideas are all welcome.

This is a fun, independent side project, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Backpack team.

The first playtest is free; no wallet or purchase needed.
