@SymeonsRest Galakteboureko! I would have it with souvlaki when visiting my grandparents who lived in remsen. anyway I could pay extra for a Frozen shipment with dry ice to California for my mom’s birthday September 1th for 9people (could include fish and blaklava etc)
@hharteveldt Have really enjoyed your content. Please consider cross posting to mastodon (the billionaire free option) tusky is good for android and toot app is good for iOS
@exceedhergrasp1 Let me know if I can assist in any way. Sorry for all the typos! Once I got registered I used the toot! App for iOS and I’ve heard good things about tusky for android
@ksd_18 I’ve enjoyed your posts, any chance you would cross post to mastodon? I’m not a bot (exactly what a bot woukd say! ) I love travel & support flight attendants& gate agents who get the brunt of the industry’s failures, etc. I just can’t support billionaire run social
Media anymre
@exceedhergrasp1 Any chance I can convince you to cross post in mastodon? It’s not prefect but it’s not cjntrokked by a billionaire. I’m leaving twitter /X as all the negativity makes my health worse but intrmemebdousky value your oats /information/work
@d_haggar Any chance I can convince you to cross post to mastodon? I’m leaving twitter/x but would continue to enjoy reading what you have to say (sorry I probably sounds like a bit) it’s not as polished over there but at least it isn’t run by a billionaire and it will improve
@ampersandria I enjoy your content (i know that sounds so lame or like a bot, but any chance I can convince you to cross post to mastodon where billionaires don’t rule? I’m planning on deleting twitter/x soon & hoping to convince the good parts of twitter to post on mastodon
Several years ago I really bummed out a writer's room by saying that television wasn't made to be watched anymore, but even I didn't know how right I was.
Ye gods this is bleak.
@BrynnTannehill@jonostrower thanks your for excellent osint list I’ve been following obsessively @BrynnTannehill deserves to be on this list. This thread is excellent but she has a lot more intelligent analyses of Ukraine as well
I’d rather live next door to someone who crossed the oceans with a child to escape death and violence than a citizen who wouldn’t cross the street to help a foreigner.
#OnThisDay 1968: Schoolteacher Frances MacRae explained why she loves aerobatics, as she prepared to represent Britain at the World Aerobatic Championships.
What I’ve found in my dabbling (and it is very compelling…I’ve had to fight to keep myself out of it) is that the argument becomes the product I’m selling, not a conversation or a quest for truth. Extending the argument forever becomes in both parties best interests. The only thing thing that matters is whatever my opponent said last. You just dig deeper and deeper, and you always feel like you’ve won, but you’re actually always driving people deeper into their pre-conceived sides.
Empathetic, thoughtful conversation can convince and find truth, but it can’t happen with hot-button issues in public forums because the goal is never to listen and empathize, it is to win. And the side that does the most listening and is the most empathetic is the side that is losing in the format of a debate.
