⭕️ Newly Declassified Intelligence Reveals Pre-9/11 Warnings About Al-Qaeda

Twenty-five years after September 11, newly declassified U.S. intelligence records provide a clearer picture of what American presidents and senior officials were being told about Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda before the attacks.

Among the most striking revelations: a 1998 intelligence report warned that bin Laden wanted to attack inside the United States and discussed a potential plot involving an explosives-laden aircraft against a U.S. city, including Washington. Other intelligence raised concerns about hijackings.

The documents also show that warnings about Al-Qaeda intensified during 2001, appearing repeatedly in intelligence delivered to senior U.S. officials.

But the newly released material does not show that the government knew the specific September 11 plot — the date, the four aircraft or the targets. The intelligence was fragmented and lacked those operational details.

What it does show is significant:

Before 9/11, the possibility of Al-Qaeda attacking America — including using an aircraft in an attack — was already on the intelligence community’s radar.

Twenty-five years later, we’re still learning more about what was known before that morning.

📍 UPDATE — Saudi Arabia Shuts Strategic East-West Oil Pipeline: Riyadh now confirms the pipeline was hit by multiple drones launched from Iraq, causing injuries. The line—which bypasses Hormuz and carries crude toward the Red Sea—has been shut as a precaution. Saudi Arabia says it will not retaliate for now at the Iraqi prime minister’s request, but reserves the right to respond.

📍 UPDATE — Houthis Complete Takeover of Yemen’s Red Sea Coast: A Yemeni government military official says all remaining government-held territory on the western coast has fallen, including Mayyun/Perim and the Greater and Lesser Hanish Islands. The Houthis now hold the Yemeni side of Bab el-Mandeb and say shipping remains open except to Saudi vessels.

📍 Iraq Closes Major Border Crossing With Iran: Iraqi authorities ordered the Shalamcheh crossing closed and launched a wide security operation to pursue those responsible for the drone attack on Saudi Arabia. The move follows Riyadh’s attribution of the pipeline strike to drones launched from Iraqi territory.

📍 U.S. Support for Saudi Arabia Expands Short of Direct Strikes: CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper is in Saudi Arabia, while U.S. personnel are providing technical and intelligence support as Riyadh confronts the Houthi advance. President Trump has so far rejected Saudi requests for direct U.S. attacks on the Houthis.

This morning DeSantis and the Cabinet got on a short call and locked in the rule for how Florida brands a group a terrorist organization. Twenty five years to the day after four planes hit this country. Flags at half staff. And Tallahassee still found time to do the paperwork.

FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass, as chief of domestic security, puts a name in front of the governor and Cabinet. The group gets seven days to object in writing. If it sticks, it hits the register and takes effect in thirty days. No more endless press conferences. A list.

CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, Antifa, Tren de Aragua, the cartels, and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard were already on the board when the law went live in July. CAIR ran to federal court the same day. That tells you everything.

The statute also says a student at a Florida college who promotes one of those groups can be shown the door. Scholarship money does not follow a campus that plays house with them.

Some people will call it overreach. They said the same thing after the towers fell. Florida just wrote the process down and dated it 9/11.
