self-sabotage is also:
- not asking for help
- rejecting praise
- isolating yourself when hurt
- saying "yes" to everything
- putting your needs on hold
- procrastinating on important tasks
- watching too much news
- trying to be perfect
Couples in healthy relationships also argue, have different opinions, feel frustrated, insecure and bored at times. Healthy doesn't mean perfect. What makes a relationship perfect is HOW you choose to move through those challenges TOGETHER.
There’s a powerful verse in Surah Al-Kahf that says:
وَكَيْفَ تَصْبِرُ عَلَىٰ مَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهِ خُبْرًا
“And how can you be patient with something you don't fully understand?” [18:68]

ever since i found out the prophet SAW never criticised food i knew i had to start adopting that aswell. it’s such a ni3ma to even have anything on the table when there’s people that can’t afford a breadcrumb. Alhamdulillah
You didn’t get what you’ve been asking for and you think the Almighty is upset with you. Never think that way of the Almighty because He knows what you don’t. He could be saving you from a calamity. Unanswered prayers can be your greatest blessings. Have faith, trust Him always.
