You pay Aikman to provide commentary on football games, not promote music albums. If you want him to do that, put it in his contract. Otherwise, kindly STFU.
Don't blame Aikman on this one. Also, Buck's shameless promotion, comparing it to MJ, is too funny to be taken seriously.
If I’m Jalen Hurts and his agent Nicole Lynn, I’m happy that he doesn’t have much guaranteed money remaining on his current contract.
I’d want to get as far away as possible from this organization and then take legal action.
Troy Aikman this morning on @dfwticket about rumors of tension between him and Joe Buck.
“There’s probably a time and a place for all that. I don’t know if now is the time. I don’t know if it’s hard to figure out kind of what happened. I’ll broadcast through this season and I’ll be a free agent at the end of the year and kind of see what happens. I’m looking forward to whatever the rest of this season does hold and the Super Bowl and all that and where my next landing spot may be.”
I’m honestly not sure how Jayden Daniels recovers from this. Publicly and in the locker room.
In terms of the leadership/respect angle, it reminds me of Anthony Richardson’s “I need to catch my breath” moment.
How do you look at this guys the same way now?
The Washington Commanders been through two straight former DCs (Rivera and Quinn) who went to the Super Bowl, got skull dragged and never recovered afterward. Why do this a third time? #RaiseHail
This thing in DC is winding down with the #Commanders. People in that front office will push for young offensive play caller as next coach. Some who ownership listens to think Sean McDermott would be the ideal guy
There was a fundamental failure of communication across the board with Quinn, Blough and JD5 on that last play. No need to overthink it. It sucks but it is what it is. #RaiseHail
No clue why we are bending backwards to decipher who was most at fault here. The answer is all of the above. DQ could have/should have handled the entire sequence WAY better and more urgently. And JD5 absolutely should have the awareness to take control when it starts to unravel.
For sure, Harris won't make a midseason move, but there are a couple of episodes of poor clock/game mgmt by DQ and there will likely be more as the season goes on.
It seems unlikely that the Commanders will fire Dan Quinn this week. Josh Harris is an experienced sports owner who is more likely to wait until after the season to make an evaluation. But that was an egregious clock-management mistake in overtime Sunday. And Magic Johnson's tweet certainly was attention-grabbing.
This part. No one comes out looking good here. You can't solve the problem by avoiding to confront the cause. Plus fans hate it when you patronize them with these type of answers. Smh.
The worst part about having to deal with the post game pressers is that Dan and Jayden think saying “it’s on me” is sufficient. People don’t give a damn who fault it is (& you’re lying anyway) at that point, we want to know WTF actually happened. And y’all are BS’n everyone.
There are doctors around the NFL who believe it's a matter of when, not if, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels hurts his left elbow again.
