Seems crazy right but the truth is you do not have to obey, listen to, or converse with those voices in your head. Sure, its a constant discernment of good vs evil but my truth is telling you not all voices in your head are YOU!

Temptation is not a scream but a small whisper in your head. Do not be fooled!

My answer (as it occurs frequently) is "GET BEHIND ME SATAN" and then I move along with my day. (Jesus taught us this phrase)

Interestingly I was inspired last night to share this as I laid in bed and dismissed the notion (especially since I gave up phone access in bed for Lent) but it came upon me today in a stronger way so here you are.

Peace is a choice.

“Find Joy in All Things”
This is the theme that came to me this morning after a blessed day of enjoying family with food and fellowship and festivities of a glorious first day of Christmas.

Was it perfect - NO
His life still challenging - YES
Am I thankful? YES

If you know me, my common return of the greeting ‘how are you ‘ is “I am thankful “

And while so many share, they’re gonna take that as their own, which I appreciate or comment on it in a positive way I think for this year I’m gonna go with. “I am joyful”

Many do not believe peace is a choice, I will tell you I have waded in the darkness and saw the understanding that we can choose to see things as we wish - there will always be a mountain to climb or a valley to dredge through.

We don’t have to look too far past this Christmas season and know Jesus never said a bad word to those that murdered him or did any of his saints and disciples who most of them were murdered horribly. We can’t learn something.

Consider making a positive theme to lift you up when times are hard this new year or you just need a better attitude or an angle to traverse this valley of life.
