People with ADHD are high achievers but find it hard to start tasks no matter the difficulty. We’re told to reach success is to work hard with no breaks. But our brains don’t work by priority, we’re literally fighting our brains everyday
I’d like to personally thank Ruby Dixon and @KatiWilde for bringing my reading accomplishments from about 4 books a year to 61 this year.
And I still got 5 weeks left. 📚📚📚📚
Since the pandemic started I:
- Lost my mother
- Lost my pupper
- Was saved by 2 little gray kittens
- Finally got help for my adhd
- Decided to finish my undergrad
- Had another abdominal surgery
- Lost 20 lbs and kept it off!
- Decided to build a house!
Since the pandemic started I:
- Got promoted at work
- Got a new job (Discord <3)
- Moved into a rental house with my bf
- Got a bf but we also broke up lol
- Got a puppy (Piper <3)
- Gained weight (but idc)
- Reconnected with old friends
- Ended shitty friendships
