@_j_a_k_e_d Kuzmenko looked really good in the preseason I thought- we should probably give him time to get up to speed after what happened before passing judgment on that signing
@liamsLCjourney What standard blood tests come back abnormal for ME? I will say, after my functional neurology concussion intensive and my ME started going in remission, I felt I had some mental influence over things like energy, brain fog, and pain levels. After Covid reactivated it I have none
@sadfoxqueen Yup, seems pwME usually have disintegrated vestibular-ocular-proprioception reflexes, meaning the brain is working in overdrive to try and figure out the basic sensory inputs it’s getting. The clashing sensory reports can lead to mast cell dumps and increased autonomic burden
@Naomi_D_Harvey My whole right eye usually drifts to the right when my eyes get fatigued, never even thought to check my eyelids. Such a quirky condition
@BarnHockey People saying Sid wouldn’t survive in previous NHL eras have clearly suppressed their memories of Sid judo throwing defenders all over the ice. Imagine his martial creativity in a time where he’s allowed to be more of a prick + has enforcers… obviously he’d thrive!
@JackHadfield14 What do you use for the red filter? Is it part of the normal OS’s accessibility settings? I’ve had some success with a specific shade of green on there but would like to explore other options
Tai Chi / MECFS / Fatigue / Brain Activity
A 12-week Tai Chi intervention significantly improved fatigue and was associated with region-specific modulation of spontaneous brain activity in CFS. These findings provide randomized controlled neuroimaging evidence supporting a potential neurobiological basis for the effects of Tai Chi in fatigue regulation. Further studies should investigate large-scale brain network mechanisms and long-term clinical outcomes.

@jbiie@Gyptsea1962@BlackLanterrn You can actually slap a big ol’ slab of romaine lettuce on the grill for a minute or two each side until it gets a little char put some toppings and dressing on it fold it in half like a taco and chow down. It’s actually pretty great lol
@frausteinbock@Naomi_D_Harvey It’s definitely helped my energy and stress levels, my blood pressure is usually around 120/80 and has not been effected by guanfacine
@Virus2Host Very true. Eventually I figured out that what I thought were fluxuating food sensitivities was actually multiple chemical sensitivity, and I have not seen it talked about much despite it seeming somewhat common. Feel free to dm
@scott_scientist Some PEMF machines have changeable settings, some are fixed. If fixed, there should be a layer of towels or space etc to dampen it to the point that you feel it without discomfort, and the Hz should be low also to target parasympathetic stimulation
@scott_scientist Absolutely, sometimes it felt like it was literally shoving electricity back into my cells. My brain could sense my body better, joints stopped subluxing, vision, coordination, balance, muscle activation, temp control etc all improved. Best result when combined with HBOT after
@scott_scientist Yeouch! I know the feeling- I got that staby feeling from my brainstem to my eyeballs and it means it’s turned up way too high. Low and slow is especially important in things like ME because of nerve sensitization, that stinks they didn’t take that into account for you
@liamsLCjourney@FatigueMe92484 I’ve definitely benefited from it. I combined Enterovite (Apex) and Pendulum’s Metabolic Daily probiotic (Akkermansia + some others). Big improvements in stomach pain, gut health and digestion for me with this combo, but I don’t know the abundance of natural producers in me 🤷♂️
Trevor Zegras always stays out late in warmups to try to shoot into the opponent's empty net. The last two games Evgeni Malkin has waited him out so he could try to block the shot. -- From Taylor Haase in Pittsburgh
@Dan_Wyke ME tends to keep the sympathetic nervous system on high, parasympathetic low. I’ve only recently gotten past this hump with guanfacine (inhibits sympathetic and boosts brain blood flow) and vagal stim activities and gadgets. Good luck man, I hope you find something to help soon
