This project will change coastal Kenya forever. This is the 136 million cubic meters of water Mwache Dam under construction. The Mwache Dam Project is a flagship Kenya Vision 2030 initiative located in Kwale County, roughly 22 km west of Mombasa.

The Nairobi Rivers Regeneration Project is on course.

The removal of settlements and other unplanned developments that had constrained the riparian corridor in the lower parts of the city is more or less complete, while the exercise is now targeting upstream settlements and structures in the west of the city.

Glad to witness progress of the project and some of the ongoing regeneration projects, impressed by the Kamukunji Recreation Park, complete with a football pitch, basket ball court and a community hall.

Also inspected works at the Gikomba Linear Market coming up next to the riparian corridor on which traders who were previously operating from will be relocated to once the market construction is complete.
