I’m experimenting with exporting a full #Figma file into a #WordPress block theme (templates, patterns, theme.json, fonts, assets).

This generates a ready-to-install theme, no manual rebuild.

One focus for the next @advancedcolumns #WordPress #plugin update is to enhance the repositioning of individual areas. This task will be approached in several ways, the first involving the creation of a keyboard interaction system with shortcuts to simplify interaction.

I recently updated the BlockFlow #plugin for @figma with a preliminary support for the @advancedcolumns #WordPress #block. You can also export a complex grid using the #Figma Layout grid functionality.

1/ Moving forward with the BlockFlow #Figma #plugin, I've added support for the core Details block and the @nickmdiego @TheIconBlock plugin. Since the SVG is exported without fill styles, you can easily customize your icon’s appearance in #WordPress using the plugin options.

With @andre_g we’re currently developing an import/export mechanism for settings that allows users to backup their configuration, re-import it and fine-tune the data.

1/ This weekend, I developed a quick prototype for a #plugin that allows exporting content from #Figma to #WordPress. I noticed that there are already a few tools attempting to do something similar, but they often come with certain limitations.
