@tnballplayers Hate the ejection in a state game, but I also understand it. Looks to flip the bat at and taunt the opposing dugout. The rules allow umpire discretion here…if the game had been chippy the umpire might have had to do it.

@UmpScorecards Am I wrong here, but as soon as some accountability was forced with challenges in pre-season…some umpires decided to get better. 2 perfect games this year (only 1 other before) along with several 1 pitch misses. Pay the umps on a bonus structure and you’ll see them get better!

If a def player is ‘injured’ when an off is not substituting, that player is the ONLY player who is allowed to be sub’d for. Also, that player is ineligible to return to play that series. If that player wishes to re-enter then a delay of game penalty would be given.
