@InBrohmWeTrust@espn@BigSkyConf It’s so fun to watch and good football! A young man, who is like family to us, is playing at Montana this year! I’m beyond excited to go see a game
@InBrohmWeTrust@NCAA As a UK fan, I agree with you! And yet we will let guys come from overseas who has played pro! With the ruling for next year in place, allowing guys like him to play is just going to make college basketball better this year
@Bullet20101@PeteThamel So according to your math, LSU hired a head coach (I’m a Kiffin fan, just doing your math here) from a low level program? Bad look if so
@LowManWiins@CBKReport I agree and X and O’s, he’s in a league of his own! But it’s also on him to get the talent!
Izzo is one of my favorite coaches of all time though and he does better with blue collar guys (coming from a UK fan)
@InBrohmWeTrust@TropicsCards I live 20 minutes from this and had no idea it existed 😂
Back when I worked in media, I covered a little arena football in pikeville, the games with Al Holland and Lorenzen where so fun
@cvontersch85@therandomsec As an outsider, moving in to Arkansas, I see the Missouri comparison a little but also don’t! Missouri has had their number lately and it’s def intensified it!
@pjsaturday63@BBNTAT0 But I think at end of the day, Stokes decision will end up being best for both teams, cause I do think our team fits together really well and you guys have a future NBA star
@pjsaturday63@BBNTAT0 That trio can be good and Stokes can be great all in one! As a UK fan, I obviously wanted Stokes but I could also see that going south real quick! Self may be able to keep him in check. But I could see him being drama as well! But he’s def crazy talented
@leek_trilli@InBrohmWeTrust Our coaches are basically the same, both nice guys, questionable results! One is short and one is tall and Pope has won more tourney games 😂 but neither have been successesful
@CougarC15 I mean NBA teams thought enough to bring him in for workouts and he’s be going in draft in non-NIL world! If he gets stronger with the ball and more physical, he has the tools to be a very good big and is a solid character kid
@MimsCourtney Those early losses got them, I guess it’s gonna be heavily based on RBI! I bet you it was between them and State for the final spot and they went with RPI as the factor.
I’d have picked Arkansas due to head to head but both had a case
@orangejuice_865 That take makes no sense! Because a player loves their coach, doesn’t mean they change schools! Only way it would be weird is if we claimed guys like Rose or Camby!
I got a better question, does Tennessee get to claim final fours from past coaches? nevermind!
@travism98@brycejallday He may have turned it down but it would have been a good fit. I hope Pope figures it out and magically works but I’m not hopeful 😂
@brycejallday I’m from Kentucky, live in Arkansas! It’s fun for a time, like when you have guys like Acuff to watch. It hurt UK when Coach K adopted the same model. Good thing is that the portal causes a lot of new teams every year! But it is more difficult when most teams are older
@brycejallday@travism98 Partly, they only truly offered two guys! I still wonder what Oats would have done if offered. UK is an enviornment not everyone can handle. You have to be the alpha dog personality type for places like their, Duke, Kansas.
@itsAntWright What’s crazy to me, is how similar UK has been to Cal at Arkansas and UK has been awful, especially to UK standards.
We forget that the last few years Cal was losing recruits at Uk!
Now UK hired a dud! Put the right guy at UK and it will be back instantly
@itsAntWright I’ve lived both, lived in Kentucky during Cal and live in Arkansas and him in early years at Kentucky isn’t a fraction of what it is in Arkansas, they had better success under Muss, Cal is just a name. In reality, Florida, UCONN and Duke is the schools players want right now
