Union Health Minister, Shri J. P. Nadda held a productive bilateral meeting with Nepal’s Health Minister Ms. Neesha Mehta on the sidelines of #WHA79 in Geneva.
Recalling the deep-rooted civilizational and cultural ties between India and Nepal, Shri Nadda congratulated Ms. Mehta on assuming office and expressed confidence in further strengthening the longstanding partnership between the two countries.
The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in mental healthcare, digital health interventions including telemedicine, capacity building of healthcare professionals, and ensuring access to affordable and quality medicines.
