Although there have been tears, and will be more in the next few weeks as we say good-bye, I’m so excited for this next chapter. Everyone in Oskaloosa has been so warm and welcoming and, as you all know, this family goes all in when we do something. /3

In April, I accepted the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Development position with Oskaloosa Community Schools.

We move in the next few weeks and start on July 1.

Hannah will be a freshman at the U of I and Jonah will be a freshman at Osky High School this fall. /2

Life update

As many of you know, but some of you may not as we’ve not posted specifically about this on Facebook, big changes are ahead for the DeVore family. In February, Marcia accepted a job as the Director of Teaching and Learning for Oskaloosa Community Schools. /1

Technical rehearsal for the #IHSMTA for Charles City this afternoon. This is a little different experience for these students then the Charles Theater and the North Grand Auditorium.

Just spent the 4 hours researching @GetRocketbook after my daughter purchased one today. This is so cool. Having a hard figuring out which 1 to get. I’m lucky school hasn’t started and she’s letting my try her new tool out. #Decisions I think the whole family is investing soon.
