Thank you to the New Haven Democracy Fund for hosting a special evening last week at Co-op High School for us to discuss how we can grow and prosper as a city in the years to come.
I'm a proud supporter of the Democracy Fund and have participated in it every time I've run for mayor. I am not beholden to any special interests. I am only beholden to you, the residents and voters of New Haven.
I'm proud to announce that the state of Connecticut is making an incredible $50.5 million investment in New Haven. The grant is designed to build infrastructure to spur innovation in the life sciences and technology industries.

Join us next Tuesday at 7pm for the mayoral debate!

Under the leadership of NHPS Superintendent Dr. Negrón we have recruited 110 new and veteran educators from across the country to address the teacher shortage experienced by school systems nationwide. Join me in wishing New Havens newest educators a successful school year!
The Yale Police Union should be ashamed of itself. The vast majority of NHPD and Yale Police officers show up every day to keep our community safe and spreading misinformation only makes their job more difficult. This attempt to misrepresent our city will not be tolerated.
