@Helen_Warner Hope the funding happens soon. Those breathers should help. Friday afternoon is a popular one. My son has def had enough by then! But he had three off a week at first. Family helped which was great and other parents were in the same boat. I used to see them at early pick up.
@Helen_Warner The school my son went to made the younger kids have some half days each week for the first year. Difficult to manage w work. He stayed at nursery rather than going to preschool because it was only half days and I couldn’t flex work enough but that would have helped I think. 1/2
I'm think of teaching a free 1hr short-story writing workshop - like a 101 of structure and shape (the hardest thing to do in the short form, imho). First, would you be interested? Second, pls RT! Probably early July.

ICYMI - on Wed 22 November we celebrated the archive launch of our four Poets in Residence: Gail McConnell, Anthony Vahni Capildeo, Jay Bernard and Joelle Taylor [1/7]
I cannot emphasise how significant this project was - a new way of archiving work, a focus on unrepresented voices. Being on the Advisory Group for it was fascinating and informative. And I also got to reconnect with former IS&T Press poets Jay Bernard and @Gail_McConnell_
... not to mention getting to know the other Uncollected poets @JTaylorTrash and Anthony Vahni Capildeo along with (Visiting Poetry Fellow) Will Harris, @jntod, @justinemann, @GeorginaColby@hughespeg, Rachel Foss and the rest of the Project Team and the Advisory Group.
Join us on 22/11 to celebrate the launch of archives from four dazzling voices in contemporary poetry: Jay Bernard, Anthony Vahni Capildeo, Gail McConnell & Joelle Taylor. All will read & be in conversation with Will Harris. Register https://t.co/o5RTIlXNkr… #NationalPoetryDay
'Imagine attending a writing workshop for the first time, writing with a poet & finding your work in an exhibition.' @justinemann@ueaarchives & @mathewswith1tea @NorfolkLibs spoke to BBC Norfolk about workshops happening across Norfolk. [40:19-50:16] https://t.co/sndA4T6gZs
