@Decker6@AndrewLichey Yes, they will. They will have to just like the NHL does. They are proposing a 50/50 revenue split with a floor/cap that will rise and fall as revenue increase and decreases. Do some research on the initial proposal and the other cap systems in sports before yapping
@JesseRogersESPN This is a much better first proposal from the league than I expected. 50/50 split and 171 floor out the gate tells me the league is serious and this is gonna get done whether Boras likes it or not.
@Nati_Sports So crazy. It’s almost like a team with a -21 run differential is coming back to earth. Reds have been playing over their ends. Enjoy the fall.
We’re two innings in and Konnor Griffin already has:
✅ 105.8 exit velo
✅ Elite sprint speed scoring from second
First teenage position player debut since Juan Soto.
He’s ELECTRIC.

@RayButler365 This week we’ve seen Keith Law say he’s the most exciting since Trout and Kiley say he’s the top guy by a mile, but Ray Butler can just provide a “Stop.”
@SleeperDodgers Go look at other cap systems. There will be increased revenue sharing that will allow the lower revenue teams to spend up to the floor without issue. So all those bazillions in local revenue your dodgers get that others don’t will be distributed to help offset that.
@DanClarkSports Good thing it doesn’t matter. If the owners want a $200 million cap, they’ll get it. Go ask those involved with the NHLPA if they wanted their cap. You anti-cap dudes are so delusional.
MLBPA executive director Tony Clark spoke to reporters at @MLB All-Star game to blast the idea of a salary cap system for baseball.
Pretty much everything he said about a cap was wrong.
Here's how it could help the players he represents -- and the sport.

MLB teams since 1901 to score 30+ runs, allow 4 or fewer runs and strike out 25+ batters in a three-game series:
Pirates - this weekend vs. Mets
That’s it.
