Hopefully these rumours are 🐂💩. Removing Federov would be close to Zelensky's worst decision. But if he is replaced then it's probably because of Zelensky's relationship with Syrskyi which seems to take precedent over everything else for political reasons that benefit Zelensky.
‼️Unfortunately, more evidence is emerging around these rumors. If Fedorov is replaced, it could trigger a major backlash in Ukrainian society, as it would be seen as a highly unpopular decision. I hope it does not come to that. Fedorov is exactly the kind of manager who should complete the military reforms and receive more authority and opportunities to do so.
Ukrainian Defense Minister could be removed, with Interior Minister potentially replacing him - Ukrainska Pravda sources.
According to UP, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is considering removing Mykhailo Fedorov as Defense Minister, with Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko potentially taking over.
Sources say that during discussions on July 11–12, Zelenskyy asked Fedorov whether he would consider leading the government, but Fedorov declined.
The decision is linked to the fact that Fedorov joined the MoD only a few months ago and has just started implementing his reform agenda.
Following the talks, Fedorov reportedly assured colleagues that everything was fine and that he would continue his work. However, several UP sources believe this may not be the case.

Among Zelensky's main shortcomings as president are his endless favoritism and his carelessness in personnel policy.
Ever since 2019, there has always been someone this guy, someone at his shoulder, standing behind Zelensky and quietly whispering things into his ear. First it was the notorious lawyer Andriy Bohdan, then, until recently, the untouchable gray cardinal Andriy Yermak, then someone else.
The current situation with the reported threat of dismissing the popular young defense minister Mykhailo Fedorov reminds me of early 2020, when Zelensky suddenly fired his first defense minister, Andriy Zahorodniuk.
It seemed that, after a succession of post-Soviet parade generals, the new president had appointed the country's first genuine civilian defense minister in line with the Western principle of civilian control over the military, a man from senior business management.
Many long-overdue reforms got underway, there was a clear plan, and anti-corruption watchdogs were quite pleased.
But nope -- Less than six months later, Zelensky fired Zahorodniuk before allowing him to finish almost anything he had started.
Because he had "failed to prove himself." At the time, however, the circles around the Defense Ministry, the Presidential Office, and the press persistently said that the sudden decision had been pushed by none other than Andriy Yermak, who had become head of the Presidential Office just a couple of weeks earlier and immediately began putting his own people in place and getting rid of those he disliked.
After his dismissal, Zahorodniuk insisted in conversations that he had never had any conflict with Yermak, but the press of those years persistently reported that Yermak had convinced Zelensky to throw out the defense minister because he objected to the then-time drama of pulling back Ukrainian troops from the frontline with Russian-controlled militant formations in Donbas.
The business manager in a suit was replaced by yet another post-Soviet general from the military bureaucracy, Andriy Taran -- who, during his two years in office became memorable mainly for being unable to string two words together and for constantly failing to complete the state defense procurement program.
That is how we ended up with the endless, barely comprehensible carousel of reshuffles, dismissals, and appointments, which people here in Ukraine sometimes refer to as "rearranging the beds in a brothel."
And now it is starting again.
Fedorov, with enormous progress in Ukraine's digital transformation behind him, has served as defense minister for only about six months.
He managed to cut Russians off from Starlink, drone production is booming, digitalization is accelerating, processes are being optimized, AI is being introduced on a massive scale, and there is now a strategy for technological superiority over Russia.
And that's it -- Fedorov has already fallen out of favor because the young IT guy did not get along with General Syrskyi and his methods of working.
And, according to rumors, Fedorov and his reforms have become a thorn in the side of those who have gotten too used to making very good money from military production.
Now Ihor Klymenko, the interior minister and former chief of the National Police, is reportedly being lined up to replace Fedorov. He is remembered mainly for his video in which he boasted about how National Guard recruits are drilled obsessively to make their beds with the sheets aligned perfectly to a string.
Every time our Defense Ministry starts climbing even half a head above the stagnant swamp, Zelensky's favorites always pop up and whisper in his ear -- urging him to appoint yet another mediocrity who would be comfortable for everyone, change nothing, and get in nobody's way.
That is how we live and fight -- two steps forward, one and a half steps back.
Delayed Thanks
With Yuri being on Annual leave feedback is a little all over the place at present.
What they are doing I have absolutely no idea, but this was the chain saw bought by @SaidbhOLeary & @megsy86 at the end of May
@joerg21279 had asked me for named props awhile back and the request got lost, so I had Vasile put them on these that we ordered last week regardless of price having gone from € 7 euro a prop to € 10,80 😀
54.29% is a tight increase in cost not to mention the hole modification
Below are pictures of the 28 rolls of resin we sent the lads last week.
In the background of 1st video you can see the large €2,200 printer we delivered back in May and have a 2nd printer to go in the next days thank to Colleen
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, resin makes such a difference
Igor in the packing plant is new to this thank you lark and with Yuri being on annual leave feed back is not as good
This is 30 kg of Magnesium filings we sent last week.
Appears small to me, but I know nothing about its density
Absolutely no idea what is written on card 😀
A huge thank you to everyone

STERNENKO: Explanation of all the recent information attacks on the Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov in two sentences. You can't even imagine what streams of funding have been cut off. These offended passengers have networks of TG channels, influence on parliament and more. So you'll see a lot more dirt.
Why Ukraine’s PM Svyrydenko’s resignation happened - based on Ukrainska Pravda sources (article in Ukrainian, translated the key points):
Svyrydenko’s resignation surprised many, but several factors made the gov reshuffle increasingly likely.
Svyrydenko’s gov was formed under Yermak’s influence. After his departure and corruption allegations, the balance of power inside the gov shifted.
According to UP sources, Zelenskyy wanted a more independent PM, while under Svyrydenko many decisions still required approval from the Presidential Office.
Timing also mattered: after key summer international events, Ukraine entered a quieter period before fall, allowing a new gov to prepare for a difficult winter and expected russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov’s reforms became another major factor, creating tensions with established groups around the defense sector. The reforms are considered among the most important, but replacing Fedorov could put them at risk.
The final trigger was the UA Ambassador to the U.S. Olha Stefanishyna’s decision to departure from Washington. The vacant post created an opportunity for a broader reshuffle. Zelenskyy offered the position to Svyrydenko, and she accepted.
The new gov’s priorities: faster decisions, stronger management, and preparation for the next stage of the war.
FULL UP ARTICLE (Ukrainian): https://t.co/JvMrnoJ3oT
Another reason for the timing of the reshuffle is that there won't be elections in the fall, and the government will instead focus on preparing for a difficult winter in which it is expected Russia will try to inflict maximal damage on the energy sector, gas production, and fuel infrastructure.
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is considering removing Mykhailo Fedorov from the post of defence minister, and the role could instead be offered to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, sources in the government team have told Ukrainska Pravda...
UP sources said during conversations on 11 and 12 July that Zelenskyy asked Fedorov whether he would be willing to head the government, but Fedorov declined.
Fedorov's response is explained by the fact that he only joined the ministry a few months ago and has just begun implementing his own vision for reforming the ministry...
Following the conversation, Fedorov reportedly assured everyone that all is well and that he is continuing his work.
"However, several Ukrainska Pravda sources in the government team are convinced this is not entirely true – or perhaps not true at all."

.@pravda_eng reports that a "systemic conflict" between Minister Fedorov and factions who influence the defense budget is one of the reasons for the government reshuffle. They report that the main reason is his resistance to corruption, even though the criticism leveled is about mobilization. They also report that President Zelensky asked Klymenko to be ready to become Minister of Defense.
