The Scadoxus bloomed. And the first two photos and last two were only taken 24 hours apart. I am amazed to see how quickly it developed.

I saw a Chinese couple having dinner, they ordered plates of food only to photograph them, have a few bites from each and leave most things almost untouched including a whole fish. And this is not the first time. I wish someone could tell me. Is being wasteful ok in China?

I found the Crinum moorei blooming last night. The fragrance strongly reminded me of when I was similarly crouched over in the back garden in London burying my nose into the Lilium nepalense. Rather hypnotic.

Went shopping at Jln TAR. Was slightly disappointed that most of the mass produced baju Raya were badly made that will probably only last a few wears and in synthetic materials which will be quite uncomfortable in our weather.
