@Eastlink may be one of the worst businesses to deal with.
There’s constant issues with their service and when you need to contact somebody, you can never reach them by phone.
@Bell got any good mobile plans? I’m sure I can always reach somebody through you guys!
@nsgov Actual start time - 10:08am
Almost 30 minutes late. This all started because of wait times and yet the CEO couldn’t even make sure that she was on time.
The problems start at the top.
@nsgov Scheduled start time - 9:45
It is now 9:58 and we are still waiting. 700 people in the waiting room.
The issue with healthcare is that our time isn’t as respected compared to how much we respect theirs.
@HockeyTomorrow Will they pay for their own equipment, ice rentals, travel, education, etc.?
I don’t think people should get rich off these kids, but these kids also get many luxuries others don’t.
@nspowerinc The state of Florida has restored power to over 2.1 million of their customers, and less than 100k remain in the dark.
Why were they able to bring people online quicker than us? What changes will NSP make to ensure this doesn’t happen again?
@TimHoustonNS - Public inquiry!
@nspowerinc NSP should be ashamed at the response the NE got when it came to restoration.
From the very beginning you failed us. Based on our damage and the sheer size of our region we deserved and needed a greater number of crews.
@nspowerinc You should have sent more crews to the NE on day 1 rather than sending as many as you did to HRM.
NSP failed those of us in the NE and CB. We deserve to be compensated.
@nspowerinc Answer this - when will we be compensated for your mishandling of this emergency and for failing to protect our grid from mass, prolonged outages
@nspowerinc I love how you’re now trying to justify why HRM got as many crews as the NE and CB even though they were +90% restored within 72hrs while the rest of us were at 30%
@MaritimeGirl13@wig71@nspowerinc@TimHoustonNS I would really like to see a public inquiry launched into NSP. It’s time for them to explain their handling of natural disasters and to show what preventative measures they take.
Rates are skyrocketing, and the UARB needs the information to protect consumers
@nspowerinc I am happy to see that CB and the NE have each gotten more crews.
Please explain why HRM got 100 more crews when they were already leading the way while the rest of us aren’t even close.
Please breakdown crews by community. How many in Truro, Amherst.. etc.
@Crazynewf30@nspowerinc On Queen St. they were about to put up the new pole and lines and then the crew and pole got dispatched somewhere else…
There needs to be a review by the province and UARB pertaining to this monopoly.
@BMAdams85 @Floramac7@nspowerinc The crews all have my respect and deserve nothing by respect as does everybody.
But as customers to a monopoly who push price increases on us for staff salaries, we have the right to question why Halifax is looked after before everyone else when we pay the same.
@BMAdams85 @Floramac7@nspowerinc I have huge respects for the men and women repairing the utility and answering the call to action.
When you look at the geographical area in the northeast compared to HRM and the work needed to restore 10 customers here compared to 100 in HRM - the distribution makes no sense
@BMAdams85 @Floramac7@nspowerinc There’s more than just Halifax in this province. There major economic activity all over. Halifax does not need the same number of crews and should not be a greater priority than any other rate paying customer.
@BMAdams85 @Floramac7@nspowerinc I have huge respects for the crews and staff restoring power.
Brandon, they quote that 80% of HRM is restored before even 50% of clients in the Northeastern and CB zones are restored. If it’s easier to restore power in HRM why not send crews elsewhere?
