Here is a picture from our hike to the Spruce Hole Bog in Durham NH! This kettle hole bog was formed by a glacier and is the only one of its kind in Southern NH. Due to the low nutrients in the bog it is home to bug eating plants such as Venus fly traps! #aquaeco2020
Lake Erie closed for swimming due to harmful algae blooms. These algae’s can grow out of control when they are over fed by nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus. Often times these nutrients come from fertilizers used on farm fields. #algae#toxic#Aquaeco2020
