i'm here again but i think it will take sethos a very long time to let himself question these things and accept the answers. he won't want to, but he can't begin healing until he does. he's going to be so angry at bamoun and it'll hurt that he still loves him despite everything

viewed his relationship with bamoun? it wasn't going to do any good so he chooses to be ignorant. he doesn't want to taint the way he views his relationship with his grandfather bc that's the only family he ever had. he wants bamoun to always be his kind and patient grandfather

why? bc it has nothing to do with the kind and patient grandfather who raised him, even if he himself admitted that he knows bamoun did terrible things. that's another reason why i believe sethos suppressed any negative feelings about the mistreatment and abuse he was put through

into it. that's why i think he never questioned bamoun too much when it came to his decisions as a leader of the temple. that's how his grandfather operated, and he wouldn't change his mind, so sethos stopped trying to make sense of it, which is connected to this. he doesn't care

reiju reminded me of this and i can't get it out of my head. sethos is a very curious person yet there are limits to his curiosity. he only asks things that he believes are important for him to know or that truly interests him, but other than that? he doesn't put much thought
