Billionaires don’t wake up at 5am. Teachers, nurses, bus drivers, service workers, etc., wake up at 5am. Billionaires wake up whenever they want because their wealth doesn’t come from their own labor. It comes from the labor of people who will never be billionaires.

But why is it that when I eat breakfast, I get hungry again within 2 hours, but if I skip it, I can go almost the entire day without cravings?

Billionaires should be illegal. Anything over a billion should be taxed 100% and go to public services. There's no reason for any single person to have that much money.

For some reason, the phrase “billionaires shouldn't exist” really pisses off a lot of people with $1,540 in their bank account.

I think it's very important that we remember that it wasn’t the CEOs and billionaires who saved us during COVID-19. It was the janitors, nurses, cleaning crews, grocery and food workers with their hard, often invisible labor.

It’s incredible how “if we meet people’s basic needs, they’ll stop working” and “billionaires are hard workers” coexist in people’s minds.
